So, on the trip down to Mexico, I was placed in a van that was caravaning with the cargo trailer. The trailer was being pulled by a pick-up truck. Anyway, on the way down, on a huge highway, the truck hit the cable for a big semi-truck. For those of you in Thailand who don't know what semi's look like, imagine the biggest truck you've seen and multiply its mass and speed and weight by 3. So my van is cruising behind this truck and trailer when there is a huge *POOM!* sound. The rear tire of the pick up had hit a cable that is used to tie things onto the big rigs. The cables hook tore right through the rubber of the pick-up's tire. I mean, the thing was ripped all the way across and all the way through. Luckily, the pick-up's driver had a spare and was able to switch tires no sweat. We made it to Mexico.
